Professional biography
Mr. Lawrence Muchilwa holds an MSc in Information Systems Technology from USIU-Africa and a BSc in Computer Science from Maseno University, and is pursuing doctoral studies in Information Systems Technology. He serves as Africa Regional Liaison for the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), and is the founder of CyberYetu and BSides Nairobi. He has provided leadership in the Internet Society Kenya Chapter and chaired the Research and Innovation Working Group of the Kenya Cybersecurity and Forensics Association. He chairs the Audit, Risk & Compliance (AR&C) Committee of Council.
