Programme structure
This is a one-semester foundation programme delivered entirely online over fifteen (15) weeks. The programme comprises six (6) core modules covering foundational mathematics, introductory physics and chemistry, computer literacy, scientific writing, research skills and environmental science.
Each module is structured to build numeracy, scientific reasoning and digital skills needed to transition into undergraduate science and technology degree programmes at OUK. Weekly activities include video-based lessons, practice problems, online laboratory simulations and guided assignments.
The programme requires approximately ten (10) hours of study per week and is assessed through continuous assessment tasks and a final integrative project.
