Academic Collaboration: Open University of Kenya and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

On February 28, 2024, the Vice Chancellor of the Open University of Kenya Prof. Elijah Omwenga, alongside the University management, welcomed Prof. Mario Molteni, Professor of Corporate Strategy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. Prof. Molteni also serves as the Rector's Delegate for Business Relations, CEO of E4Impact Foundation, and President of ALTIS Advisory. The meeting took place at the offices of the Open University of Kenya situated in KONZA Technopolis City.

During the meeting, representatives from both institutions reached several agreements. They decided to collaborate on various initiatives, notably the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Open University of Kenya and the Catholic University of Milan. Additionally, they agreed to co-host certain degree programs, including an MBA in Entrepreneurship. These collaborations aim to foster academic cooperation and enhance educational opportunities for students and staff from both institutions.
