Bomet University Communication Students Explore Career Growth at Open University of Kenya

A group of fourth-year communication students from Bomet University recently visited the Open University of Kenya (OUK) at Konza Technopolis, where they were warmly received by the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Professor Carolyne Omulando.

During the visit, Professor Omulando encouraged the students to pursue additional professional courses to enhance their employability. She emphasized the importance of developing soft skills and 21st-century workplace competencies. Additionally, she highlighted the robust range of skill-enhancing courses offered by OUK, urging the students to consider enrolling as they prepare to transition into the workforce.

The students were accompanied by their Head of Department, Dr. Suleyman Chembeya, and Dr. Leonard Koech, who facilitated the visit as part of their academic and professional development initiatives.
