OUK HOSTS ACDE DELEGATION TO STRENGTHEN REGIONAL COLLABORATION

The Open University of Kenya welcomed a delegation from the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE), led by Prof. Isaiah I.C. Wakindiki, Vice Chancellor and CEO of KCA University and ACDE’s East African Regional Representative. The delegation was received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Elijah Omwenga.

 

The meeting focused on enhancing partnerships in open and distance learning across East Africa and beyond, exploring joint initiatives, capacity building, and innovative strategies to widen access to quality education.

 

Through the strengthened ties with ACDE, OUK students stand to gain from increased access to regional learning resources, collaborative research opportunities, exchange programs and exposure to best practices in digital education.
