Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment, one MUST have:
- An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited university recognized by the OUK Senate;
- Served for a cumulative period of six (6) years, three (3) of which in the Grade of Tutorial Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow in the relevant field;
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers and;
- Registered or registerable with the relevant professional body (where applicable);
- In-depth professional/discipline-specific knowledge and experience in a specialized field or broad knowledge in a number of fields.
