Duties & Responsibilities

Duties
  1. Assist in the implementation of administrative functions of the division, department, school, Unit or section.
  2. Taking minutes in various committees.
  3. Supervision of staff under them.
  4. Advice the head of department on all matters relating to the department.
  5. Assist in the setting and implementation of the departmental PC targets.
  6. Assist in the adherence to the Quality Management slot gacor 2026 Standards (QMS) for the implementation of the performance management system of the department.
  7. Support planning and budgeting in the division, department, school, Unit or section.
  8. Any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
Must Have
  1. Have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized University.
  2. Be proficient in computer applications packages.
  3. Have one (1) year of relevant administrative experience.
  4. Certified Secretaries (CS) Level I will be an added advantage.
  5. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution slot88 of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.

  2. Applicants with degrees from foreign Universities MUST attach letter(s) of recognition from the Commission for University Education (CUE) as part of the application document.

  4. Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya will be upheld and any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
Note that the Terms of Service will be either Permanent and Pensionable OR Contract, as shall be determined by the University Council.
