Background on the National Defence College (NDC)

The National Defence College was founded in 1992. Owing to the complexity of developing a suitable curriculum, the first course was launched in July 1997. Since then, NDC has consistently conducted annual programmes, positioning itself as Kenya’s premier institution for strategic training, leadership development and national security studies.
