The Generative AI Masterclass and Hackathon is a practical capacity-building initiative designed to equip learners, educators, professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills for navigating the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. 

Offered in collaboration with BCS Technologies, the course combines expert-led instruction with hands-on learning. Participants will explore key generative AI concepts, tools and applications while developing an understanding of ethical, secure and responsible AI use. 

The Masterclass will introduce participants to the potential of generative AI in education, business, public service, entrepreneurship and other sectors. Through the Hackathon, participants will work collaboratively to identify real-world challenges, design innovative AI-supported solutions and present their ideas for feedback. The course aims to promote digital innovation, strengthen problem-solving capabilities and prepare participants to contribute effectively to Kenya’s growing digital economy.

 To gain admission into the Masterclass, a participant must: 

  • Minimum of basic computer computer programming skills.
