Dr.Stanley M. Kavale

Dr. Stanley Kavale is a scholar, university senior lecturer, researcher, and academic leader specializing in strategic management, business administration, corporate governance, organizational performance, and leadership. He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business and Economics, Open University of Kenya (OUK), coordinator of professional development courses, exam coordinator and industrial attachment coordinator. At OUK, he contributes to lecturing, research, curriculum development, and academic leadership. His scholarly interests encompass strategic management, strategic flexibility, innovation capability, entrepreneurship, organizational competitiveness, strategy implementation, corporate growth, diversification, corporate governance and performance management, with particular interest in the application of strategic management theories and models within Kenyan and African organizational contexts. Dr. Kavale is actively engaged in research addressing contemporary business challenges, especially on the performance and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He is also involved in the development of university courses, academic programmes, research projects, and professional learning initiatives in business and management. Previously, he has expansive experience in banking and marketing.
