Ms.Betsy Wesonga W

Betsy Wesonga has 16 years of teaching experience at university level and 17 years at college level in TVET Institutions. She is currently a Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Open University of Kenya, where she also serves as Student Innovation Mentor and Acting Dean of Students. She is a practising Business Management Consultant with over 18 years of management training facilitation in the public, corporate, SME, and agribusiness sectors. She is experienced in conducting income and expenditure surveys, baseline surveys, and developing CBET-based curriculum and training manuals. She has developed training programs for Gitlab Foundation funded agribusiness projects and CAP Foundation, and offered professional services for the NYOTA project (State Department for Youth Affairs). Betsy is a TVET trained Monitor/Evaluator, CDACC Trained CBET curriculum developer and assessor, and a certified market systems analyst by ILO/ITC. Her training areas include social and corporate entrepreneurship, value chain management in agribusiness, research to commercialisation, SME management, social-emotional skills, and financial literacy.
