Dr.Kevin Wachira Kangethe

Dr. Kevin Wachira Kangethe is a Senior Lecturer with over fifteen years of experience in university teaching, research, academic leadership, and industry. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entrepreneurship, a Master of Intellectual Property, a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship, and a First-Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and New Product Development Professional (NPDP). Dr. Kangethe specializes in entrepreneurship, innovation, intellectual property management, technology transfer, research commercialization, startup development, and technology adoption. He teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic management, and related business disciplines. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, intellectual property, business incubation, research commercialization, and technology-enabled organizational transformation, with numerous publications in refereed journals and successful research grant awards. Beyond academia, he has undertaken consultancy assignments in business planning, innovation, project evaluation, and entrepreneurship development for public, private, and community organizations. He is actively engaged in community service through youth mentorship, entrepreneurship training, career guidance, innovation coaching, and outreach initiatives that promote inclusive education, enterprise development, and sustainable socio-economic transformation.
